Two days into a bad weather fest and I'm not happy. Here's why:-
# The kitchen floor has needed a scrub for a while. I choose to do it on the wettest day this year. Yes footprints everywhere, including the cats.
# No sun. I hate it when the sun doesn't shine. I do suffer from SAD but since retirement all has been well. Two sunless days is making me cranky.
# You can only have so much grey sky. I hate grey. Whatever the shade. Thank goodness for a few autumnal leaves still hanging on.
# We are half way through the big garden tidy up. Now we are waiting to get outside again to continue. Not amused.
# Have you noticed the wetter the day the worse the traffic. On every road, traffic lights have appeared. So that I feel as if I have been sat in one long traffic jam.
# I missed the library van because I was sat in the very long traffic jam. Not good!
# I'm still waiting for tickets for a concert that is happening next week. I'm going to have to sit on the phone for hours in the next couple of days to sort it out. I hate diddly diddly music on phones. I'm sure the rain is to blame.
# I spent too long last night researching family trees. My eyes feel like they are going to pop out of my head.
# I've just watched the forecast. You've guessed, we have more days of this ahead than I care to mention.
Sorry, I feel better for that. I will get a grip, honestly. Just a little bit of sun tomorrow.....pretty please :)
